Social Media Morning: ‘See the digital age in a whole new light’

Hear from industry thought-leaders and visit an exhibition of the regions’ social media providers during a unique event at Liverpool Science Park.
Renowned digital media communications consultant and strategist Kathryn Corrick, of Emarketeers, will be lifting the lid on the latest digital media storytelling techniques and creative disciplines used by the big brands, writers, film makers and television producers.
Kathryn has over 10 years’ experience in digital and social media, and has made important contributions to a wealth of organisations including McCann Erickson, Digital Britain, New Statesman magazine and the Technology Strategy Board. She is also a visiting lecturer in online journalism and a trainer in digital media. Delegates can also register for 1-2-1 sessions with Kathryn.
The free breakfast event, which is part of Liverpool Science Park’s regular Knowledge Economy Business Breakfast (KEBB) series, will continue into the morning with an exhibition of creative agencies and presentations from two further guest speakers.
Joanne Allday, of Lancaster-based Showing Off Academy, a school created to show business owners how to boost profits and improve work-life balance, will advise audiences how to measure the success of a social media campaign.
While Russell Gannon, of Liverpool-based online marketing and web design company Together Online, will be sharing his top tips on how to deliver innovative social media campaigns.
